The Best Kept Secret...

So here is the album nobody was meant to hear from the talented Leona Lewis, one of the biggest selling artists of the year.

And it hasn’t been easy...

With much resistance and a smear campaign describing this album as nothing more than "a bunch of rough demo recordings", we can now let the public decide about this fantastic collection of works recorded by Leona in 2005.

The album has an upbeat, contemporary sound and stands up to any popular release around today.

A clear display of her own vocal talents, Leona teams up with various other artists on certain tracks who compliment her beautiful voice perfectly.

So despite some of the unsuccessful attempts to block this album release, its here and the public have a right to hear it if they so choose.

UEG Music are not trying to be confrontational or greedy by releasing this album, they made a huge financial investment in an unknown Leona Lewis and simply want to recoup their costs whilst showing her fans a less-contrived and more natural side to her talents as an artist. They are not trying to do anything detrimental to Leona's career or her current label's sales.

UEG continue to support the community by giving educational and career opportunities to kids, as they have continually done for over 10 years.

It’s unfortunate that the project has been surrounded by such controversy, but it in no way affects the unquestionable talent of Leona Lewis or the quality of this superb album.

Needing an outlet to release this album, Barry Bee of UEG Music decided to approach Thirteen[rec] and our wide digital distribution network Thirteen|DST to release this album through us and our network. The release of this album has had it's fair share of difficulties, not least with it not appearing on the iTunes shops, but in the end it has come out onto most shops (Juno, eMusic, Napster, and many more) despite opposition by the likes of Simon Cowell.

Now it's available for all fans to listen to and judge the real qualities of this superb album and vocal performance.
