About Jake Cymo

Born and raised in Indiana, USA, far from the epicentres of electronic music around the world, Jake Cymo was able to develop his own style free from local trends. His style or lack there of, is defined in one word, eclecticism. From jagged house, to tech style rhythms, to break beats and down tempo, Jake Cymo has been able to fuse elements of all these styles into one syncopated laser beam. Still though, Jake Cymo's productions and DJ efforts usually hover around one of two generalities: acidic and groovy or lush and melodic.

These sounds can be heard in both his debut EP, j-Horror, his second EP Acid 3 and an upcoming artist album. In addition, artists like Victoria Wilson-James and Avitas have already enlisted his talents for remixes. Riding high on the strength of these early efforts, we will inevitably hear much more from JC.
